Our History
Valem Financial Services (Valem) started in September 2008 when Leon Wessels decided to become an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). At that point in time he was a contracted financial consultant for one of Liberty Life’s franchises.
Due to the continuous growth of Valem’s client base, especially in the medical Aid market space, his wife, Maurette, decided to join Valem in 2010 to take on the responsibility for this aspect of Valem’s client base.
Since 2010 Valem has grown into a small, but competent brokerage where the motto of “the client deserves the best possible service”, is lived daily.
